Dear cat friends!
For many years we run a little hobby Savannah breed near to Hamburg. Our breeding cats stem from A1 Savannahs from the USA, the first and largest Savannah Cattery. The cats are growing up in our family circle and therefore they are used to a close contact to people and being around other cats. Despite their "wild" appearance all our cats are very affectionate, cuddly and need and demand closeness from "their" people.
Since there are for about 5 years domestic male Savannahs you should only consider kittens from a pure Savannah x Savannah mating for purchasing. Lately you can find multiplied "cheap" offers for Savannah kittens but highly caution is advised! Often for this e.g. Oriental or Bengal are crossed in what can lead to that the cats lose their typical Serval character. Also there is the risk that, for Savannah, untypical diseases appear. So our appeal to all potential buyers: Look at the breed carefully before purchasing a Savannah! How are the Kittens living, are they growing up so that they can be given away totally socialized? The serious breeder uses tons of love, time and money for the raising of their cats and also has to cope with failures from time to time. So slogans such as "cheap is cool" or "we can only cheap" are totally misplaced when purchasing a Savannah.
