The Savannah

Appearance

The Savannah is a big, skinny, tall cat with a long neck and a head that appears small compared to the body. On the back side the big ears show light-coloured ocelli. The tail of the Savannah is slightly shorter than of other breed cats, has a blunt end and should be drawn with wide black stripes.

The coat can be coloured in the background from beige to yellowish, from golden to orange. But silver or even black can be possible as the base colour. It should have a distinctive black dot marking. The underbelly is bright.
The facial marking matches the Serval. Depending on age, generation and gender, a full-grown Savannah can bring up to 10kg on the scale and reach a shoulder height up to 45 cm. The overall impression should be a wild cat and similar to the Serval.
